We were approached by Kalis Restaurant Group to manage the web marketing for their four Zagat rated restaurants

The challenge was to give the customers a better user experience while enhancing each restaurants web presence. The site had to be easy to navigate so the users could easily find key information and menus for each of KRGs four restaurants. KRG also required an easy way to update menus and seasonal promotions

To enhance user exprience . .

We removed the sites entirely from flash, added easy to follow navigation and banner areas to promote specials. A Gift Certificate ordering feature and Open Table reservation system was installed to each restaurant website to enhance the user experience. We collaborated with Open Table reservations systems to export approximately 5,000 opt-in reservation emails to the Constant Contact email marketing software which is currently in use, today.

To engage more customers . .

We implemented a social media campaign to include Facebook, Twitter and Flickr unique to each restaurant. Mobile websites were designed that dovetailed closely with the branding of each unique property. Up to 32% of web traffic is now via mobile. The mobile websites have also increased social media engagement and check-ins for each restaurant location.

After the websites were complete we implemented an SEO Campaign to improve the internet marketing for all sites.

The SEO Campaign was designed to specifically improve the rankings for KRGs websites on Google for key phrases such as Greek Restaurant, Seafood Restaurant, Mediterranean Restaurant and Tapas Restaurant in Fells Point and Baltimore.

Internet marketing was a success! All of KRGs websites reached number 1 position for several targeted key phrases, and currently appears in the Top 3 local listings on Google.

We were originally hired to SEO the website for CLEAN AIR.

Upon review, we found that Local SEO was a better fit.

We designed a plan for the client to implement that included organic SEO yet focused on obtaining top local results in Google, Yahoo and Bing.

The strategy included the following:

  • Clean-up the local directories (citations) i.e Superpages, Yelp, Angies List, etc
  • Taylored clients Google Places account to meet quality guidelines
  • Removed duplicate Google+ listings
  • Created a Google Merchant ID
